R.I.P Palin Perez Jackson 1973-2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Friends of a man killed in a SWAT standoff with police described him as talented artist who was plagued by personal demons.
Palin Perez's last moments were detailed in a series of status updates on his Facebook page, his friends said. One update said he was not suicidal and that he only wanted to talk to his family.His final post read, "I did my best."The standoff ended Wednesday afternoon with authorities shooting Perez,WESH.COM.

We lost Palin Perez Jackson Nov 25 to a unfourtinate event of a battle to protect his self and his family.”

Young Orlando artists grieved Wednesday afternoon outside yellow crime scene tapes on East Livingston Street where a troubled man described as one of the city’s most promising painters died in a stand-off with police.

Palin Perez Jackson was shot when he stepped outside his front door with a gun in his hands, police said.
